I don't know about you, but I've always struggled with Ink pad storage, and I've always wanted something specific, but couldn't obtain one from the UK that would fit my Stampin Up ink pads. Santa (disguised as my husband, or is that the other way around) left one he'd made himself hung on one of the walls of my craft room on Christmas eve.
What do you think?
One day, I will have my craft room finished and I will show you pictures of the whole room ...
BTW If you'd like something similar I know that Craftracks in the UK sell storage racks but sorry the SU pads are too big for the multiracks.
Edited to say that after many requests I've updated my original post on my blog with design details :O) Merry Christmas

That's an awesome gift! And your room looks great NOW, I can't imagine when it's finished.
ReplyDeleteWow!! Love it. If one day he sells the plan, let me know :) It everything a stamper need!
ReplyDeleteThis looks absolutely wonderful! I'm still trying to figure out a decent storage solution for my ink pads.
ReplyDeleteWhat a good guy you have! He could sell those if he wanted to make some extra money....great gift!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice guy :) Very nice!
ReplyDeleteWow, I'm jealous!! :)
ReplyDeleteI use old wooden cassette tape racks, but they're a tight fit for some of the newer ink pads, and the Stampin Up pads hang out too far.
Oh wow, how sweet is that? He's a keeper! lol
ReplyDeletelove it! your hubby did a great job.
ReplyDeleteOooh, great storage. You and your hubbie have solved a big problem for me - popped over to your blog and have to thank you for posting plans for your display.
ReplyDeletethis will be the perfect solution to a mid winter crisis 1) retired hubbie, 2) no garden work can be done and no diy outstanding, 3) to much football on the telly.I can print off the plans, present them with a kiss and push him out the back door. Girle film on the tv and peace and goodwill will abound. I might let him back in for dinner if he's good!!
Wow! What a kind gift!
ReplyDeleteI love this. Your hubby did an awesome job. Just showed this to my hubby and requested him to make me one.
ReplyDeleteOMG you are soooooo lucky to have a handy husband who understands your need for storage! That is awesome!!!
