Sharon's basement workshop!

I will let Sharon explain:
It has evolved over the past 8 years going from an unfinished part of the basement.  As a Christmas gift my husband built this room with recessed lights, built in shelves, tile flooring and a window to look into the other side of the basement where we set up a playroom for the kids.  Now the kids are teens with my 16 yr old son's bedroom is next to my workshop, so I am not allowed to open the shades. :o)I just finished the most recent Purging, Organizing, Storing set up last month.  I love my room now.  Everything I used on a daily basis is within arm's reach.  I would live here if I could.

  3. So enjoying seeing all these wonderful spaces. I just completed a room renovation to create a home office/craft/sewing room. Lots of great inspiration here! Thanks!

  5. Wow! Your workshop looks wonderful! Thanks for the laugh when you mentioned you aren't allowed to open the shade anymore! I'll eventually have a small basement craft room of my own and we are thinking about putting a little window in ours too, looking out over a playroom! :) Funny how time changes things a bit, isn't it?!
