Full Circle
Funny how things go around. Through Google I found Valerie's blog and found this post.
I am very happy that someone has bought the ribbon holder from Jeff and more importantly is really happy with it. To go to Jeff's blog click here.
So please, Jeff and other inventors or storage manufacturers, email me with your websites. After all, we crafters not only enjoy IKEAs crafty storage but also the fabulous made for purpose storage.

I specially like the pegboard used to store ribbon and the magnetic tins store upside down to maximize storage room.

Patti Beham's ink blending foam storage idea
Long time ago, Patti Beham sent me the link to her blog entry on how to make this lovely little set of foam storage drawers, and of course, somehow I have only now manage to post it.
What I like about the project is the crafty aspect of it. It is 50% papercraft project, 50% storage project. If you would like to see how it is done, click here -there is even a video.

Violet Skiles's studio

When it comes to beautiful studios, well this is pretty much up there with the best. I particularly the island in the middle that is high for scrapping but with Violet has a two stools as well.

Also I loved the Closet. I think it is perfect to take note of how to take advantage of small and weirdly shaped areas.

And of course this wood unit ... makes me want one!

Dina's Nestabilities storage idea and studio
Dina uses a rail to store punches and the Nestabilities. For the latter ones, Dina got some S hooks from Ikea (the rails are from there too) and then made little tags so she could know what they are.
Also I would like to ad this photo of her studio:
You can see more photos and explanation here.
