Haldi's DIY project

I love this submission by Haldi. I could see myself making one for my stickers, and thickers.

It is in Russian, but I think it is pretty self explanatory!

A good DIY alterantive

 You all remember this?

Well I saw this idea on Pinterest from Sueli on how she stores her clear stamps. But I do think it would also work for Thickers.

Using cardboard boxes and then make them all pretty.

Thickers Storage

I love this idea from Ronny.
Ronny has used an extra wide magazine upright holder. I havent been able to find it online, but I am guessing that Staples would have something like that.

Remember that the Thickers with packaging are about 6 1/2" wide or 16 cm, so when looking for the holder just mesure the inside to be at least that wide.

Hanging File Sticker Storage

We all know hanging file folders are great as sticker storage -or any other flat item-, after all, they are easy to label and put away, however, the small stickers always end up falling out to the sides, so here's a solution I came up with:
I staple a gallon size ziplock bag and store the stickers inside.

To save -or rather add- more space I also staple ziplocks on the outside (2 inside 2 outside):

Nicole Petersen's studio

I believe this is just one wall of her studio. Let's hope that Nicole will share with us the rest, which was featured in CK October 2006.
I love the use of the available space with those wire baskets on odd shaped shelves full with stickers and embellishments packs

Love this beautiful Typist drawer used for rubber stamps.

Nicole blog is here.

Really Useful boxes

Thanks to Becks Fagg and her blog I have come across this new storage product:

The UK based crafters are well aware of the Really Useful Boxes, as they are called, or RUB as they are written on the boards. I have quite a few of the boxes in three sizes and, although they are a really good product, they are not perfect for me. The reason is simple: I like boxes that don't stack on top of each other because when I want to get to the bottom one I don't want to have to take all of them out to get to the bottom. However, the stacking situation makes lots of people happy, so who cares what I think!
I also think that this box could be great for Debbie's rub on storage idea which could be adapted for stickers sheets.

Links

A little bit late, but over at Two peas they are doing a get organized month. In their Garden Girls blog they have done interesting entries by Joanna - using a file storing cabinet- and Laura K -cork board and shelving unit-.

Amanda's ideas

This is one of the studios that is worth having a good look through. Not only Amanda has lovely storage ideas but also she takes the time to take pictures, to upload them and to explain them. This two are just a simple samples of it.

The first one is storing the brass stencils for embossing. Perfect neat storage that allows you to see loads at one.
Both of them are Crop In Style Paper Sticker Binder which Amanda uses for storing embossing stencils, stickers, rubons & more.

Laura Vega embellishment storage

For those like me that like everything practical, Laura Vega's studio is a wonderful example of how it could be.

I particularly like how she stores her stickers and other similarly packed embellishments in little pretty baskets.

Or in pretty jars.
