Carol Cel Scrap room tour

Carol's scrap room is a lovely space, full of craft stash and good ideas on how to store it all.

I love this media unit that opens up and all those Stampin Up goodies are there.

It fits a few avid crafters!

You can see a lot more photos on Carol's bloge, here.

LeAnn's organisation ideas

I came across this blog post that I think shows a lot of good extensive organising.

I love this idea (not too different from mine for dies or punches), but in this case it is all neatly together on a ring binder.

Andrea's Studio

Andrea submitted her studio a few weeks ago and immediately wanted to featured it but I wanted to do it properly so it has taken me a few weeks to find the time to do so.

The room is 11 x 10.

One thing I loved is that Andrea has a lot of tools that are usually hard to store but she has them out and ready to use without being an eye sore.

Like all the die cutting materials.

I love this trolley to store paper by colour.

A nice contained unit to store the fab machine that is the Big Shot Pro.

And ribbons and punches galore!

Punches and Ikea

This is a brilliant idea. Bron says:

I was looking on your site getting inspiration for a way to store a medium amount of punches. I love the custom made ones but don't have that many to justify the cost. Then I found the Kvissle Letter Tray (Link to UK site) at Ikea for $50. Each tray can store 6 large or 8 medium or lots more small punches. I mix up my sizes though so they are stored with 'like' designs. Then at the bottom I store the hand punches and other miscellaneous ones.

I think this could be used as well for stamps and many more crafty items.

Suzanne's ideas

Somebody likes her Martha Stewart punches as much as I do!

And I like the space efficiency of how she stores the cartridges.

Sharon's basement workshop!

I will let Sharon explain:
It has evolved over the past 8 years going from an unfinished part of the basement.  As a Christmas gift my husband built this room with recessed lights, built in shelves, tile flooring and a window to look into the other side of the basement where we set up a playroom for the kids.  Now the kids are teens with my 16 yr old son's bedroom is next to my workshop, so I am not allowed to open the shades. :o)I just finished the most recent Purging, Organizing, Storing set up last month.  I love my room now.  Everything I used on a daily basis is within arm's reach.  I would live here if I could.

Monica Gale's Craft Room

Monica has a beautiful and very funtional craft room - It's perfect, I could move in tomorrow! I think one of things I like most is that it is so pretty, uses everyday purchases and recycled objects but it looks prefessionally finished.

Be sure to pop over to her blog, My many many passions where she has also posted a small video tour of her room.

This is her stamp library, stored on DVD shelving

Recycled bedroom furniture help create a pretty workstation

Fabulous punch storage, its an Ikea metal shoe rack!

I hope you enjoy your visit to Monica's craft room, be sure and let her know you visited from Crafty Storage.

Tosh's room transformation

From this:

To this:

Same units, just a nice coat of paint over the units and the walls.

I have to say that it is inspiring seeing what people do with what they have got to make it work. (Love Tim Gunn!)

Georgina's creative space

Georgina's craft room is 10' x 8' which is perfect for her needs as "creates her little safe heaven"!

The idea that I love form this studio is how she displays cards.

Isn't it great? It is a 4 lined retractable washing line across the top of the room, where she hangs all her cards on it.

Click here for more photos and explanation from Georgina on what and why she uses for Crafty Storage.
