Kathy's Studio
I love the look of this space, it is a very grown up studio don't you think?
The room is 12' x 14'.
And look at this unit:
But this one bellow HAS to be my all time favorite drawer unit. So envious!
In a couple of day, Kathy will share some more ideas.

thinking outside the box...
...or inside the box, as the case may be.
We live in a condo, so I'm constantly on the lookout for new storage ideas. Since I enjoy making cards, I had to get creative when it came to storing my masterpieces (ha, ha...).
These photo boxes (the lid is not featured in the pictures) sit on the shelves in our living room and yet they hide some frequently used greeting cards. So simple...and yet so nice to have on hand and easily accessible.
What do your photo boxes hold?

Storing your finished cards
Hello crafty storage readers! I was browsing the internet looking for ideas to store my finished cards, when I came across Kajikit's blog. She had seen something similar elsewhere on the internet, so decided to use the idea to create practical card storage for her finished cards.
Originally she kept her finished cards in a plastic box, but they were not organised into sections so to find a particular one meant that they all had to be removed. The storage pictured here is actually plastic shoe storage, well two of them to be precise! Kajikit has taped two together and then hung them on the side of her storage drawers.

- Love
- Friendship
- Birthday
- Thinking of you/Miss you
- Encouragement/general
- Children (I don't make a lot of kiddy cards...)
- Current Holiday
- Next Holiday
- Future Holidays
- Next Year (in case I make cards for a holiday that's already passed...)
- Any Hero Cards
Kajikit also comments that each pocket looks like it will hold up to 20 cards, which is great, and so easily accessible!
So how do you store YOUR finished cards? I still haven't full decided what to do with mine, but I love this idea!

Card Organizer
I like to make cards in bulk but often I forget to send them out.
I found this YouTube video that shows you how to make a card organizer with calendar dividers to help you organize and REMEMBER to send out your cards!

I received a couple of weeks ago this email of a reader requesting for ideas on how to store the crafts things we make, such as cards and mini albums etc. And today Emma sent me an email with this. Enjoy!
" This is a card organiser I recently made, although I take no credit for the original concept, the work is all mine. I had the empty storage box from an empty display box from Asda. Luckily for me the outer shell was already turquoise and so I lined it with some of the free white card you get at the back of Stampin Up designer paper packs and covered it in lovely paper, ribbons and stamped and punched some embellishments."
